Barbara helps Canadian mothers by producing, co-directing, writing and playing in her latest short doc-fiction “Declaration d’une Maman”.
Barbara teamed up with Director Nathalie Lopez and joined forces with “Reseau-Femmes Colombie Britannique” to give birth to a wonderful short documentary. This doc-fiction is an introduction to a longer version of the documentary “Declaration d’une Maman”. These pictures were filmed to support the French Women in British Columbia.
“This cause is important to me, it’s about the survival of mothers at home or the single-parents/mothers that work extremely hard to put bread on the table and how this is so often in jeopardy” says Barbara! “These moms are forgotten, isolated! These mothers are part of your society; they are part of your daily life. Without moral, mental, financial, support or support from family, friends, or the government, these mothers continue to slip into depression and are driven to involuntary suicidal acts caused by the economical pressure. According to several studies, these mothers have an attached value of $130, 000, yet they don’t get to enjoy it! We implore you to help them, hear their voices. We invite you therefore to sign the petition to help these women “the guardian angels, the educators of your future society and the protector of your children”. Think about your future! Support us in our cause.“
You can find out more about the cause by watching the movie, by voting for a longer version of the movie or by supporting the mothers by signing the form at:
